This is located in the crocodile river greenhouse.

Btw. it houses black and rufous sengi, not rufous elephant shrews

At Phildelphia Zoo it is signed as Giant Elephant shrew, at National Zoo Washington as Black and Rufous elephant shrew.Frankurt has kept Rhynchocyon chrysopygus in the past, and they named that species in their english edition guidebook also Giant Elephant Shrew.

Anyway, lovely animals, and I look forward to see them again when I will visit Rotterdam in a couple of months....and also Antwerp, so in can see them at both places, hopefully with offspring!

And to see my third species of that genius,I have to go to Plzen again.
