Very nice VC, I don't think I've ever seen a lagomorph in a zoo that wasn't a domestic rabbit. Except I did see a wild bunny at Sea World San Diego which I guess was a cottontail, but that doesn't really count.
How does this mix go, any interactions between the two species?
I was wondering myself when I saw the enclosure. During the time I saw the 2 species together no interaction toook place and I guess it works well - as long as the owls are fed regulary the Snow hare is simply to big for them. I however have my thoughts when the hares should breed because little Snow hares are exelent Snowy owl food.....
