Reactions: felis silvestris
A mix-and-match of birds from different habitats in Australia. Black Cockatoos, Brolgas, Eclectus Parrot, cattle egrets, a couple of types of fruit doves and some duck species.

Yes, there's probably about 20 - 30 different species of Australian birds from a number of different environments.

Pied Herons, Major Mitchell Cockatoos.

The cassowary male is in the rainforest section of the GFA now, Pat. The female is still on the side - I think they're in the process of introducing them to each other. A wire barrier has been erected under the wooden bridge that crosses the stream - all birds in the aviary except the cassowary can still access all areas.

There's also at least one non-avian resident in the aviary - a Gippsland water dragon that can sometimes be seen above the stream at the far western end of the rainforest section. There's also a trio of water dragons that live in the gorilla enclosure.
