vogelcommando 26 Apr 2015 Thank you very much FBBird but the ones I've seen in the wild always had much larger black throats. Is the one on the photo a young one or do they have a different summer / winter plumage ?

FBBird 26 Apr 2015 Adult males in breeding plumage have a well defined black bib. This is less visible in the winter. Some adult females develop a bib.

vogelcommando 26 Apr 2015 OK thanks FBBird that explains a lot because I've seen wild ones only during the summertime.
