In one of the aviaries on the upper level of the tropical hall - any suggestions? The general build reminds of a hawfinch, but there is no hawfinch with this colouring.

I vote for Slate-colored Grosbeak (Saltator grossus). The species is distributed over most of tropical South America. This individual seems to have an unusual pale bill.
