pretty sure some are - melbourne had kept this species for years and years in a very small exhibit opposite the giraffes back when there was an "ungulate alley" there. from what i know, eventually all the breedable animals in the region were consolidated to melbourne and fortunately the animals landed this large exhibit in a refurbished cheetah enclosure.
they are (in)breeding well, but with so few lineages left....
I want to believe that the maned wolf is in it's other exhibit and the peccaries were just trimming the grass but you're probably right in that the maned wolf has died. Hopefully they can get another one or two soon.
I heard that ALtina hold quite a few though so hopefully they aren't a lost species for Australia. That is sad news though and in the next 5-10 years I think a lot more of those carnivore exhibits along the lemur lake will become empty.
