Once upon a time San Diego had them, but that was long ago...before red river hogs, bearded pigs, Chacoan peccaries and warty pigs stole the curator's hearts.......
He is a little bit overzealous when it comes to declaring new species, but the Giant Peccary (although also challenged in its species status by some) seems to be genuine.
