Do you know about the plans for Lodz zoo,are there any maquetteson display?.
A good friend of mine from Lublin,in Poland told me that the masterplan project is 20 years ahead.I wish it occupied the whole of Pilsudski Park,though next door is a Aquapark FALA but opposite is the 60 ha site of the park,it is very unfair that the botanical gardens occupy more than double the surface of the zoo,you know.
Masterplan for Zoo Lodz was made by city officials. Zoo does not have a lot to do with this project.
Anyway, this project is impossible to create. Hippo house for 10 hippos, rhino house for 6 rhinos, also exhibits for gorillas and "black panthers". It is also elements of this "masterplan".
Today, Zoo has its own vision of development. Main project is increase the zoo area for part of the Pilsudzki Park.

And this is a priority. Without this we can only dream about new and big investments in the our zoo.
