They are an interesting design , but the size looks suitable for tamarins and marmosets , nothing larger.They would be hugely improved by generous planting.I assume the curtain walls are faced against the prevailing wind and they should be quite effective in minimizing visually provoked inter-group stress.If strong winds are not a problem , I would prefer the curtain walls to be not entirely solid , incorpoprating some mesh , and retain the visual barrier through dense planting.Perhaps the climatic factors in this location make these solid barriers a comfortable option for the animals , but in a warmer location I would opt for the solution I have outlined.This type of construction is good value for money in all respects , including mid-term and long-term as it is low-maintenance.I feel we will be seeing similar constructions in several zoos before long, hence my interest.
 
One of them had a group of Hamadryas Baboons, which did look rather cramped, but for the other animals the size was adequate, I thought.
