Nutria always seem to be housed in the most odd and old exhibit in the entire zoo. Usually the pool is too shallow as well. Funny though, it doesn't seem to matter to them, they breed like rats no matter the enclosure.
This is original Nutria House from the beginnings of Wroclaw zoo in the second half of 19th century. The most strange for me is the colour. Small deer have also such an old but white-and-blue.
