Fur seals pool. Terrestial part of enclosure. Probably another species will be added there.

What sort of species? Thanks for the construction photos too.

It is not yet certain but most likely jackals. What species? Nobody knows.

Just to be clear - the jackals would be in a separate enclosure to the fur-seals?

I do not know, in Namibia I have seen quite some black backed jackals near a fur seal colony, they were obviously scavenging, maybe they want to combine them, as I do not think a jackal will ever try to attack a living fur seal, although a pup would maybe not be safe...

Conception is: two species at one exhibition. Years ago Wrocław Zoo kept fur seals and dingoes at one enclosure and it works well.
