There one full adult male and a sub-adult male (that is almost full adult).
From my first visit this year, the two males were agressive one to each other (being the sub-adult submissive), but on my last visit there was plenty of harmony between them.
All the other are adult females, except two yearlings males. (not a year olf yet, I supose)
I posted a thread asking about another Angolan lion at Leipzig Zoo (Matadi). It seems that all of them are related, which is a shame since I personally find 'em to be better looking than the "generic" ones you commonly get
When I first saw him a few years ago, I tought that LZ was going to give him away to another Zoo, but as he's sticking by, probably he will stay.
I have no idea how old is the adult male
But I supose that he's is (heavilly) related. LZ states that ALL lions on exposition were born at Lisbon, so they are most likelly related and most likelly and unfortunally inbreed.
@CindelP It is impossible that they are all born at the zoo. That would go against the breeding recommendations of the EEP coordinator. Which the zoo has to obey too.
