Elephas Maximus

Mixed exhibit (red-necked wallabies, Geoffroy*s spider monkey)

Is this just a indoor exhibit for winter? Do they have a large outdoor exhibit for summer, with grass and bushes and climbing opportunities?

Unfortunately no :( Our zoo is nearly the smallest one in Russia (excluding private zoos & petting zoos).
2,5 hectares of space only.
All plans for a larger territory were failing since 1930's. Maybe it's a curse.

That is sad. :(

I have seen red-necked wallabies kept in outdoor only enclosures in many parts of Europe (even in deep snow in Estonia and Poland), with only basic shelters, so they are very hardy species that could probably survive much, if not all of, the year outside - if there was space available.

Yes, I'll definitely do it. After posting more pics of exhibits and zoo interior, so they can be hyperlinked in the review :)
