What an extraordinary exhibit! It almost appears as if the fake walrus and cool ice graphics have been photo-shopped but if one were to look beyond the artistry there would remain an ugly, outdated, cement bear grotto that should have no place in a modern zoo.
There are (though questionable) plans for the zoo's moving to a new territory.
And bears should live long enough to get a new exhibit. That won't help with breeding though - female is useless.

Agreed. The addition of this art-work is perhaps clever and no doubt expensive, but it does nothing to improve the exhibit from the animal`s perspective.
One wonders if they saved that money that they spent on the art-work they could have put it towards a better enclosure rather than tarting up a rubbish exhibit with a bit of fancy paint-work!

I said multiple times - there is no damn space for a new bear exhibit at the zoo!
The renovation of exhibit is not artwork only. Water system and dens were also remade.
