I actually like this bear's habitat. It reminds me of the frozen tundra in the Arctic, where there is an abundance of space, lots of ice floes, and not much in the way of iron bars. It is great to see the Leningrad Zoo invest in spacious, naturalistic exhibits, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if this polar bear habitat was an award-winning enclosure.

He was just joking. I don't know if anyone has ever watched Fast Forward (probably only a few Australians.) It was a skit show and the actors did the funniest Russian accents ever in this sagment called Good Morning Russia.
