Silver dik-dik / Madoqua piacentinii

Howmany Silver Dik-diks are kept at Moscow, where did they come from and is there any change breeding them ? Looks a very nice species !

Alas, only 1 remaining specimen so no chance of breeding. Moscow Zoo originally received 3 [I think] of these dik-diks from a Russian Bird Park(!), but was unable to trace their precise origin. They were thought at first to be Salt's Dik-dik, but now seem to have been re-identified as Silver Dik-dik.

Even after we know where these animals were sent from, still nobody knows where they were caught in Africa.
