Alex, thank you for posting this great photo of an impressive looking specimen, are you sure that this isnt a Marco polo argali because Zootierliste has no records of Severtovs argalis but it lists Moscow Zoo Breeding Center has having Marco polo argali, unless they are the same subspecies..., Wikipedia lists Marco polo argalis and Severtovs argalis as seperate subspecies, also I thought that I would share that Novosibirsk Zoo has Altai argali (Ovis ammon ammon), they have one female and one male, I also found out that the Almaty Zoo in Kazakhstan has Karaganda argali (Ovis ammon collium), i got my info from ISIS and Global Species

I also found out from Global Species, that the Landau Zoo keeps Argalis but unfortunately it does not say which subspecies they have

Yes, this is Marco Polo sheep - ovis ammon polii. I just used English name, which ZIMS uses.
