This platypus is the most active one I have ever seen, he is almost impossible to get a shot of as he moves so fast in his darkened exhibit. But he stopped for a second under a log and I managed to get a shot!

In the foyer of the platypus exhibit is this display - a washing machine with a freshwater fish tank inside, which is part of a campaign to get people to use phosphate-free laundry powder. Quite a cool display I thought.
