No, I not experienced it. In fact, I photographed it thinking that it was a Diachrysa (we was at a light trap) and I did not saw how different is it until I was at home. I didn't knew this species before photograph it, and only after an expert in noctuid moths identified it for me, I knew about this feeding habits.
