Thank you! It seems now that I saw my first Clouded Leopard probably ten years before I thought I did. I only found this photo recently with my mom and dad from this summer holiday when I was eight years old.
How a roadside safari park in Mallorca managed to obtain such a rare cat at the time is hard to understand. Possibly it was the private pet of one of the island's millionares ...
It wasn't difficult to purchase species like this from dealers/zoos in S.E. Asia in the 1980s. In fact its still possible if you know what you are doing!
