Fossa male looking birds

It's unusual to see these animals in outdoor, open-air enclosures! It looks like they've got better climbing opportunities than many captive fossa.

Although I think this is a great picture, the fossas do not have much room, and live on a very small island near the lemurs. The problem I found with the Bioparc is that superficially it looks fantastic but there are problems with space etc. The overall effect is a bit like a shop window, and to me it calls to mind the dioramas in New York's Natural History Museum.

@Pygarthrix I agree with you, in the particular case of fossas or leopards too, but not in many other enclosures, like "savannah" especially "wet savannah" zone.Anyway I like the photo.

The equatorial enclosure with drills, talapoins, sitatunga, pygmy hippo is a nice idea but looks really crowded with so many animals in a limited space.

The savannah area is more spacious but has a very artificial look to it with closely mowed lawns and sandy paths making it seem like a city park

Does he ever catch the birds??

No birds, but one time they eaten a frog!
The birds he's watching are the birds of prey of the free flying show opposite their exhibit.
