Sitatungas swiming in a summer day

Phenomenal!

I need to book a flight to Valencia post haste!

But I hope the trees grow really fast there--the gorillas and guenons are waiting.....

Any chance the exhibit has underwater viewing windows? ;)
Now THAT would be an exhibit to see!

Is early october of interest to you:D

Given the climate it is expected that trees will indeed grow very fast.

Do these guys swim for pleasure?

In the wild they are semi-aquatic, heading for deep water in the papyrus swamps at the slightest hint of a predator, or to move from grassy island to grassy island. My guess is when it's really hot they would enjoy the water.

They are an adult female with her young son enjoying in the water in a very hot morning in July. They swim everyday in sumer.

Now there´s a shot you don´t often see.

I was going to say the same thing - I don't ever recall seeing sitatunga swimming. Then again, I can't really recall seeing a sitatunga exhibit where they were given a deep pool to swim in, just a pool deep enough to wade in, or sit in.
