Dromedary Exhibit at Bioparc Valencia, 28/05/11

A very odd exhibit, more reminiscent of Petra than anything African. Some of the signs seemed to suggest the giraffes sometimes use this area, and given the height of the back wall - is the giraffe house behind there? This was linked to main savannah paddock under a footbridge.

Hi, Maguari: This is a transit point for giraffe between the shelters and the 'green' savannah, it's used too as a zone of exchange animals (or like 'quarantine' outdoor area)of the savannah, I can see dromedaries, giraffe, elands and greater kudu females in this point(named 'the triangle' by the keepers) but not for long time.

Thanks, KEEPER, that makes sense!
