I was told the fossa exhibit here was small, but actually it goes quite a way back and is no smaller than most European fossa exhibits (in fact bigger than Newquay's, say).

Small -maybe a bit-or not, but the first time (in Europe?) that this species it's exhibited in a outdoor enclosure.
Bioparc staff says.

You mean in one without fence. Because outdoor-eclosures are common for this spicies.

I don't know, it's just what I've heard.
I never seen this species in another zoo.

Do the fossa exhibit stereotypical behaviour in this exhibit. In exhibits with fences they usually spend a lot of time pacing the boundaries

The male has stereotypical behaviour, yes. But he has ever from the first day, then I presume he had this behaviour in his former zoo too.

Its one of the best Fossa exhibits I've seen! Can Fossa swim? they could probably do with a few more trees and it would be perfect!

This and frankfurt s must be the best Fossa exhibits around.

I think this is a first for exhibiting Fossa in a moated exhibit.

Yes Fossa can swim according to google ;)

Frankfurts exhibit is way better than this. This moat is a real waste of space.... and the islanf misses climbing opportunities and looks rather small on the photo...
