Yes, and this is the case for all the big cat enclosures, to varying degrees (technically the bears too, although the enclosure rises up above the viewing as it goes back).
Blimey that is an odd enclosure for such a species.
I agree with your comments on Jags, I have worked with them and had some very close encounters with them which I would not want to repeat!
