On my visit last weekend I saw that part of the roof is off for some kind of repairs / renovations. Personally I believe that any kind of reform not employing heavy demolition equipment falls short of the mark. Unless the enclosure was to be reformed for a much smaller species and even then it would have many drawbacks.
