That wall becomes more hideous every time I see it! The enclosure is of a decent size and there appears to be a lush, tropical jungle in the background...but my goodness the wall is an epic eyesore.

If in a colder-climate country like the Netherlands Gorillas can be housed on a large, natural-looking island ( I mean Apenheul ), a zoo in a warmer climate country should be able to do equal or even better !
 
To be fair, not only is this a privately-owned zoo, but this exhibit already existed to house chimpanzees, so there is no real point (or funds) to construct a new exhibit. Not every zoo can afford immersion, Congo Gorilla Rainforest style exhibits.
 
I actually like it as well. The golden yellow contrasts nicely with the green, and it has a slight 'king kong' feel to it (maybe this isn't really a positive though). Obviously it doesn't look modern or naturalistic, but on the plus side a gorilla will never drown in a wall
