A fellow ZooChatter who toured both the Madrid and Barcelona zoos just over a year ago told me that those two Spanish zoos have fantastic animal collections but that there was cement in all directions. I'm not sure that I would be thrilled with the lack of green surroundings, although to be fair there must be some natural-looking exhibits scattered around the parks.
