Ya gotta love these old hippo pools that are barely large enough for the mammal to turn around...I'm so glad this zoo was closed and then completely gutted.
Are most of the exhibits in the closed zoo still standing. I enjoy seeing the old exhibits (without any animals) before the new natural looking replicase came.
The zoo it's now closed and the access it's forbidden; actually the building of a new library and a museum, (for molluscs and insects collections) it´s in progress...but they work very slowly.
