New brown bear exhibit -Borås Zoo

The brown bear enclosure is 14 000 square meters. There is a large lake, a waterfall, a small forest, a bridge for visitors, information center and restaurant with windows facing the wolf and bear enclosures. The water in the lake and waterfall is coming from a lake in the area called Krypesjön where there are game fish. It is expected that the bears in the future will be able to catch fish in their lake.

That is a very cool exhibit. It definitely beats the one in Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Has anyone been to see this exhibit recently?

How have the wolves settled in?

Is there allot more plant growth?

Do any of the bears show stereotype behaviour?
