Snow leopard exhibit

This used to be the polar bear exhibit, but now contains two snow leopards instead! The size is 3000 square meters which must make it one of the larger exibits of its kind. This picture only shows a part of it. Note that there is no net roof, which is great! (This is the first time I try to upload a photo here on Zoobeat, hope it works....)

Hey, Swedish Zoo Fan... maybe you have visited Kolmårdens Djurpark in recent years? You wouldn´t happen to have photos of this exhibit that you could show?

I visited this particular zoo some 35-40 years ago, when it was pretty new and as far as I can remember you could walk around the whole of the polar bear enclosure - now the snow leopard enclosure. So I guess it is just a question of the zoo visitors keeping a good look out. Then they should be able to see the cats.

But at the same time the cats can have some privacy - keep themselves fairly distant from noisy children etc - as opposed to those awful cat exhibits that our NUMBER ONE photografer on this web site - snowleopard - just recently showed us from, what was it? - the Henry Doorly Zoo, or something.......

No, i don't have any pictures yet, and i don't like the exhibit because you can't see the animals very good. Or maybe this is just me? Henry Doorly Zoo is much worse than this, although...

No, i think it's ok, really, but they should redo it a little...
