Fantastic enclosure, blends so seamlessly into the woods in the background, very natural looking.

Unusually big seal enclosure for a zoo. Very, very deep as well, as has been showed in another picture in the Kolmården gallery. And if I am not mistaken, when the seals climb out of the water they have a view over miles and miles of a fjord and forest landscape.

Whether this has an importance or not to a seal I don´t know, but I always like it when an animal in a zoo can look long beyond the enclosure it is confined to. Tigers, for instance, are said to appreciate it.

Here can we see the big fjord called Bråviken. On the other side you found the city Norrköping.
