Snow leopards enclosure

Quite small, but still the best snow leopard enclosure I've seen. Located on a natural hillside. The leopards can be quite hard to spot, as you can see the park has provided the visitors with a binocular to make it easier to see them properly.

Wow, that is a beautiful exhibit and it does not look that small to me. If it snows there, it would be an unbelievable photo opportunity.

This snow leopard exhibit seems to have snuck under the radar, as I've never heard anyone mention it before. It appears to be quite brilliant, and much better than countless other enclosures for this species of cat.

Then you must have slept in class ;) I have mentioned this exhibit several times as one of the absolute best in the world. It is not easy to find the snow leopards, but then again, it is not supposed to be!

On a serious note, I am just as exited as everybody else about this enclosure. I had never seen a photo of the whole enclosure, only close-up pictures of the cats. It really looks superb!

One detail:

At first glance, you get the impression that the little hut/shed at the top of the picture is a shelter for the cats. But on closer inspection you see that the fence is in front of it. Can anyone tell me the purpose/function of the hut?
