This funny little outdoor cage was tacked on to the Ape House much later, in order to let the Apes at least have some sunlight/fresh air. I'm not sure if there is one, or more than one of these little cages nowadays, and if the Apes have to take turns to use it. It is similar to the old outdoor cages the Gorillas had in the old Bird House- pretty much the same size too!
