Immersion exhibit for Spectacled Bears.

I visited this exhibit in 2003, and it is possibly one of the all-time great zoo exhibits. Spectacled bears and coatis foraging in the dense undergrowth, surrounded by natural elements and the immersive powers of a truly fantastic zoo habitat. Simply brilliant.

Maybe South Lakes Animal Park(UK) should have a look at it....

What a differance a season makes. I seen this exhibit in feb 08 it was cold and dark

I see why Chester based Zurich's Spectacled Bear enclosure on Zurichs, both very good enclosures... Will look at others...

@snowleopard Not only is this an all time great zoo exhibit for its merits as an enclosure, it also is because it went on to inspire similar set ups across the continent.
