I'm really enjoying browsing through these Toronto Zoo photos, but very few of them actually contain animals. Were all of the creatures indoors? The problem with Canada's largest zoo is that many of the all-indoor exhibits in the pavilions are actually not very good, and while some of the outdoor enclosures are excellent they are only accessible half of the year due to the frigid temperature.

It's getting cold in Toronto, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of animals were indoors. I still think that the Toronto Zoo is a great place to visit during the winter. There are 4 large hot pavilions, plus they still have lots of cold weather animals like polar bears.

Thanks snowleopard. I took lots of pictures of animals as well but obviously much of the African Savanna was empty. I tend to only post pictures of animals when I think it is a particularly worthy species (unrepresented here or partucarly interestin with ref to the zoo at which the picture was taken). Who wants to see another picture of a ring-tailed lemur or lowland gorilla, frankly.
