We eventually found three individuals close to one of the banks. This is a zoo to take binos to!

There's a picture in the guide of eight animals together, but I'm not sure if they still have that many.

Eight would be really nice. I always find it disappointing that zoos exhibit hippos in pairs in small pools. They live in large groups (whatever a group of hippos is called) in the wild and I would like to see large ponds like this with large groups in zoos.
