Congo Gorilla Forest- Indoor Gorilla Exhibit

November 3rd, 2012: Their is a small viewing exhibit, but if you see that patch of green, that\'s a look into their larger off-exhibit area.

Where is this? I know it's in the Congo Gorilla Forest but that's one of my favorite exhibits at the Bronx and I don't know where this is.

It's right before the outdoor gorilla exhibits, I think. I don't think you are able to see it while the gorillas are outdoors though.

Oh that makes sense. What's the zoo like during the winter? Empty (exhibit wise)? Are the Malayan Tigers out?

It is located after the indoor bird exhibit and before the Conservation Gallery/movie entry.
During the warmer months a folding wall covers this viewing area. You wouldn't even know it was there.

The second indoor holding area also has a small view from the upstairs classroom.
