Dakota Zoo is great for feline fans, as there are huge, natural-looking exhibits for Bengal tigers, snow leopards, cougars, Canada lynx and bobcats plus servals and Pallas' cats in smaller enclosures. Canids are also well-represented in chain-link yards that are nevertheless great for the animals and Mexican grey wolves, grey wolves, coyotes, Arctic foxes, red foxes and swift foxes can all be found near the feline section. Lastly, there are 14 enormous paddocks full of hoofstock in the bottom part of the zoo and also some really nice bird aviaries as well. Dakota Zoo was one of the pleasant surprises of my recent 20 day/65 zoo trip.
