Coyote - not

This man-made coyote is on the roadside next to the zoomobile path. So far, in about 5 rides past it this year, I have not heard anyone mention it, or even seem to notice it.

Has it always been there? New game for us zoo chatters who will actually spot it at all.

Only noticed it this summer and I don't know why it is there. Haven't asked because I don't want to draw attention to it -more fun to see who notices it! So far only one friend.

I don't remember seeing the coyotes before this year either. My guess is that they are trying to discourage Canada geese from nesting in those areas. At least one of them is pretty close to the Zoomobile route.

Real coyotes and foxes at the zoo don't stop them so I doubt that's it.
