About a week ago I was driving to work and a few blocks from my house a coyote walked across the road in front of me with a raccoon in its mouth. Going home that same day a coyote walked across the road in front of me in the rain (with a drenched coat). Both would have been great shots except I didn't have a camera. I decided that day to start carrying a camera in my car, since I frequently see coyotes or mule deer (and the occasional javelina and once a bobcat) in my neighborhood in the Tucson Mountains. It already paid off, as I saw this guy cross the road on my way home yesterday.
