For several days I had a great opportunity to watch a coyote family with ten pups in a den across a field from the visitor walkway at Sweetwater Wetlands (a created wetlands made by city of Tucson to treat reclaimed sewer water). I was hoping to document them growing up, but they have since moved on, possibly into the adjacent dry riverbed which has lots of brush. I tried doing a sunrise bike ride along the bike path that follows the bank of the river in hopes of spotting them, but no luck.
