This area of the Olmense Zoo used to be either unoccupied or behind the scenes. Over the last 7 years a lot of new construction has occured here. The Tropics Hall was built. Right next to it is a series of aviaries holding birds of prey, called the 'Raptor Route'. On the former location of the cheetah breeding center, the 'Crane promenade' was constructed, a series of enclosures for cranes.
