Crappy lion separation exhibit, 2019-10-04

Previously home to an African leopard, that according to information on Zootierliste died earlier in 2019. At the time of visit there was a pair of lions in this crappy exhibit, which was definitely one of the worst at Pairi Daiza.
It was indeed the home of two leopards, which moved to the current leopard enclosure when it opened. Later it has been used as a temporary enclosure for the clouded leopards, white tigers and at least once more for the leopards as the Javan and the last African were both present for a short time until the African died.

Ah, yes; some zoos really look way more stunning and lush for people who never visited it, right? Hope this enclosure receives a good renovation soon, or maybe gets demolished.
