Right!? I felt like every subspecies I saw (and even a few elevated-to-species level primates) were super unique to this region of Africa and not often represented (if ever!) in captivity!
Zootierliste lists Crawshay's zebras as only being in the Berlin zoo as former holdings. It's very interesting how some subspecies are very absent in captivity yet others are everywhere!
