Creative and whimsical way to acknowledge how bird flu is impacting avian displays

Wildly inconsistent throughout my trip. Some places had all birds on view, some zoos had “hardier” or more common birds on view, other zoos had all their birds off exhibit. Unless it’s based on the severity of local outbreaks…I saw no rhyme or reason at work. Boarded on the absurd at times.
