Crimson chat in flight.

Such wonderful belly coloration! Flocks of this species might fly over an extensive area and track rain, so they can find the best flowers and nectar.

There have been recent rains in some of the drier areas of NSW, leading to quite a lot of greenery, flowers etc.. Crimson chats were one of the few species that seem to be in reasonable numbers.
