Crocodile (and giant otter) house (04/22)

For Nile and desert crocodiles, giant otters, some cichlids species and sutchie catfishes and free-roaming birds (red-whiskered bulbul, blue-crowned hanging parrot and orange-bellied leafbird)
Why did they decide to keep Giant otter (famous for preying on caiman) at this facility? Personally, I think they would have been better off bringing in the new American alligator and West African Slender-snouted crocodile.(These two species were previously kept at this facility.)

Because giant otters are awesome and much more active and fun to watch?

Honestly I would pick giant otters over any kind of crocodile, or any kind of reptile, any day. No competition there.
