When I went last there was also a snapping turtle sharing with the alligator. I love the reptile collection at west midlands, King cobra and 4 crocodilians (nile croc, american 'gator, spectacled or cuviers caiman and african dwarf croc) not to mention the huge anacondas and reticulated pythons.
No sign of the caiman on Sunday - there were two young (Nile?) crocs in that exhibit - one of which was remarkably lively. In addition to the two animals in this shot, the West African Dwarf Croc was also still present and correct.
Also interested to note that Mark O'Shea was doing the reptile demonstration when I arrived - not seen him around the park for some time.
