Cylindrical cichlid tank, 2019-10-05

These fish are Cyphotilapia frontosa. I consider that this cylindrical tank is quite unsuitable for these large cichlids from Lake Tanganyika.

@gentle lemur Thank you for the information. I agree that the cylindrical tank is ill-suited to these fish and that was in my opinion the case for most if not all of the cylindrical tanks at Pairi Daiza as well as some other tanks in the aquarium, sadly.

I'm generally not a fan of cylindrical tanks, unless they're really large, for multiple reasons.

Definitely unsuited, and to keep such a group in such a small tank is even worse.
